Matt Cole joined Earp Cohn P.C. as Of Counsel in 2025. He has an extensive background in the fields of corporate, securities, and commercial real estate law and business divorce matters. For 17 years, Matt served as primary outside securities counsel to a well-known New York Stock Exchange-listed company. Before joining Earp Cohn, he spent 16 years with a Philadelphia-based firm known for its focus on business divorce transactions and litigation.
Matt provides practical, strategic advice to clients in the following areas:
Matt’s business divorce experience centers on structuring and implementing buy-out, financing and other related transactions. As part of this practice, he also advises commercial litigators on substantive business organization and commercial law and identifies and evaluates causes of action, such as for minority oppression.
