Kathy assists clients with their estate and long-term care planning and guides fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates. She focuses primarily on estate matters, helping clients to develop effective plans to meet their estate and long-term care goals, and assisting trustees, executors and estate administrators in navigating the probate process and preparing all necessary Surrogate Court submissions and tax returns.
Kathy also has extensive experience in elder law, assisting with the Medicaid process, preparing Petitions for Guardianship, and participating in competency hearings. She has often served as Court-appointed counsel in such matters as reviewing Special Needs Trusts, representing minor beneficiaries, or administering estates.
Before entering private practice, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable John P. Fullam, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
